Marta drives causes that are near to her heart, and her corporate social responsibility (CSR) philosophy is: Nourish leadership potential in those who need a helping hand. Making her philosophy a reality, Marta serves as an advocate, philanthropist, fundraiser, and volunteer. She weaves her CSR philosophy into her daily rhythm and encourages other leaders to do the same.
To give back, Marta created and steers TSI’s award-winning FEED TO LEAD Program which puts CSR in motion providing funding and volunteer hours to charities and nourishing leadership potential in those who need a helping hand.

Marta served as Board Secretary of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Board Chairman of EasterSeals DC MD VA, and as a Board member of the Association for Corporate Growth National Capital Region. She is also a former board member of the Virginia Network of Nonprofit Organizations and Virginia’s US Senate Productivity and Quality Award. She is a recognized expert in leadership effectiveness, organizational improvement, and transformation strategy. Marta is renowned for not only changing ideas about what it means to be a leader, but thriving in her own role as a leader in motion. She holds a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech.
